Get ready for Trail of the Dragons, set to take flight across Wolverhampton in summer 2027 with a spectacular trail of breathtaking dragon sculptures.
Imagine exploring our bustling streets, green spaces and hidden gems within our city – turning a corner to discover a striking dragon at every turn. Each of the 30 sculptures will showcase the unique talent of national and regional artists, proudly sponsored by businesses who want to fire up community spirit and creativity.
This is Compton Care’s very first art trail, bringing together businesses, schools, community groups and artists to create a free, fun and family friendly trail of discovery for everyone to explore and enjoy.
Compton Care is a charity that provides specialist palliative care and bereavement support to local people living with a life limiting condition in Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
A Wild in Art Event
In partnership with Wild in Art, this vibrant and imaginative trail will bring people together – families, schools, community groups and visitors from far and wide. As the dragons land across the city, they’ll spark joy, drive footfall, celebrate local culture and shine a spotlight on the vital care provided by Compton Care.
